Manchester Airport (MAN) is a 2-runway airport located in Ringway, Manchester. It is approximately 13.9 kilometers southwest of the city center of Manchester.

About Manchester Airport
Aside from Heathrow Airport, Manchester Airport is the only other airport in the UK that operates two runways. It has three passenger terminals and one terminal allotted for the transport of goods.

Manchester Airport has a total of 5 lounges. There is an Escape Lounge at each terminal building while 1903 Lounge can be seen in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The pre-book price for Escape Lounges starts at £24 per person while 1903 Lounges’ pre-book price starts at £32.50.
Both Escape and 1903 Lounges offer passengers comfortable seats, complimentary WiFi access, as well as snacks and drinks. 1903 Lounge is pricier though since the lounge fee already includes a FastTrack pass that allows passengers to skip the security lines.
MAN offers free WiFi access for up to 4 hours within any 24-hour period. This allows passengers to stay connected to their loved ones and entertained with different surfing sites. For those who will need premium service that is ideal for streaming and heavy usage, MAN also offers pay-as-you-go premium WiFi service at affordable rates.
Transferring from one terminal to another is easy since the terminal buildings are located close to one another. When going to Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 from Terminal 2, movable walkways can be used for the passengers’ convenience. While Terminal 1 and 3 are only within a 2-minute walk distance from each other.

The Car Rental Village is accessible via free shuttle buses that depart from each terminal building every 10 minutes.
