The Edinburgh Airport has partnered with 37 airlines flying 221 routes and 158 destinations to welcome people to Scotland. The airport is owned by a leading independent infrastructure investor, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), which employs about 750 staff members.
There are three lounges at the airport. Aspire Lounge is by Gate 12, with an optional lounge located at Gate 4. The exclusive No. 1 Lounge is found next to Gate 12. The third lounge is owned by an airline and only caters to passengers flying with them.
There is a dedicated Family Lane for groups traveling with children under the age of 12. All items must pass through security, including children’s toys.
Children can burn off their energy before boarding their flights at the airport’s play zones located at Gate 2 and Gate 21.

Yes. The FastTRACK Passport Control service is available to all passengers over the age of 18. Upon reaching the Arrivals Hall, there is exclusive access to the FastTRACK lane so you can avoid long queues at passport control. If you don’t have any hand-carry luggage, you can easily pass through. For your convenience, book a FastTRACK ticket online.
Before passing security, there are three coffee shops and one restaurant. After passing security you can find three bars, two coffee shops, and six restaurants, including one that offers Japanese cuisine.
Are there car rental facilities?
The airport’s car rental center is easily accessible and is just a few minutes’ walk from the terminal building. Simply take the covered walkway next to the multi-story car park.
